DSL comes in a bunch of flavors, which one you can get depends on
your distance from the nearest Verizon DSLAM.

down/up
768k/128k
1500k128k
1500k/768k
3000k/768k
7100k/768k

768k/128k is available up to 18,000 feet. 3000k/768k is available up
to 13,000 feet, 7100k/768k is available up to 5,000 feet

768k is $14.95-$19.95 depending on provider
1500 or 3000 service is $24.95 - 39.95 depending on provider

Cable is anywhere from 3000k to 6300k and is shared between you and
your neighbors, bandwidth can be much better than DSL but can also
be much worse. It all depends.

Our service for residential is $5-$10 more than Verizon but we
provide local service & support, we also provide a free Zoom X5 modem
