Comcast speed blows dsl out of the water. (can you hear the kaPOOM? ;-) ) 95% of my clients are on dsl, varying speeds and types. I suspect the website problems you describe are not really the ISP but you never know, you might be right. DSL is definitely a better value for a typical internet user in my opinion, if you don't do a lot of huge downloads or otherwise need the extra bandwidth regularly. On comcast internet a typical 4mb mp3 will download in under 3 seconds. I have toyed with the idea of switching to dsl if they ever have competitively priced static IP plans, last time I checked they were about the same as comcast. Be interested if anyone has any current pricing info on that? re your dsl: whats their highest speed for 29.99 per month?
