Most affiliate programs are based on a simple percentage of the sale. 
If it is a small
sale, then the commission won't be much. People who sign up for 
affiliate programs
would hope that there would be enough of the larger sales to make it 
worthwhile. You
have to decide what percentage you are willing to offer. Potential 
affiliates will then
decide if it is worth their effort. There are many affiliate 
directories on the Internet
where you can post your program if it is Internet based. Just search 
for affiliate
directory.
