Are wed to QuickBooks? I can help do what you want with Sql-Ledger [1]. I've been using it for all my accounting for years. Sql-Ledger let's you: - assign invoice line items to a projects - assign purchase order line items to a project - associate labor (time cards) to projects - generate sales orders from time cards - generate invoices from sales orders - run income statement by project - run consolidated income statement across all projects Probably more than you need, but giving you a flavor of the level of functionality. Sql-Ledger uses a SQL database to store your records which is another advantage because you will always be able to export your financial data. From what I understand, QuickBooks makes it difficult to export your transaction data. m [1] http://www.sql-ledger.org.
