[Hidden-tech] vonage comments?

hey Tom,

Been using it on my home and business for a couple yrs. Occasionally
there's quality probs. I won tickets to Karrin Allyson 2 wks ago, and
my phone disconnected after I heard the magic words "they're yours!".
That is very rare but it was very very (very) annoying.

95% of the time its a tremendous value: I have saved hundreds, maybe
thousands. I am tossing around the idea of getting a verizon line just
for a local business listing (vonage=no local phone listing unless you
do yellow pages), but looking at the prices compared to vonage, its like
robbery. Hence I've been dragging my feet. I might keep a vonage line
for long distance and get the $25.00 basic verizon line, maybe. I guess
you could say I'm neutral on the subject but I'm currently standing on
the side of the line thats saving me money. My feeling is that for home
use, if you have a backup cell phone, it's a no brainer.

You're right this comes up again and again. I have skipped adding
comments the last few times as it's all been said. But these are my
latest developments as it applies to voip.
