There are actually places that will do it for free. The Franklin-Hampshire Career Center (http://www.fhcc-onestop.com/) has services for job-seekers, including resume work. If your wife is trying to target her resume for a fairly high-level position, that's more difficult, but I've found that even if they don't know the industry, they're quite good. They have job counselors that can do individual resume consultations, and also workshops. Give it a try!
