[Hidden-tech] Anyone in the area have equipment for measuring PC noise levels?

Yeah, they are very quiet, I am envious. :) I also love the small form 
factor of things like the Mac Mini. If I had the extra cash and could 
justify it, I'd buy a Mac Mini anyways just so I could gaze upon it. ;)

Yeah, they won't run my software. :) I still plan to use this laptop 
when I travel and work away from home, but I'm looking for a quiet and 
dedicated desktop. I bought this laptop hoping to replace my desktop, 
but thats not working so well due to the noise.

I'm pretty sure the fan is the source of the noise, I can only rarely 
hear the drive in this laptop and have to constantly glance at the disk 
activity light to confirm it working. :)
