I can heartily recommend SyncBack by 2BrightSparks:
http://www.2brightsparks.com/downloads.html . The newest version (v.4) costs
$25, but the previous version (3) is free. I've been using the free one for
about a month and a half now with GREAT success. I just told it once to back up
the directories I want, and it's been working flawlessly ever since.

It's so nice to finally have peace of mind without having to *do* anything.
