Because, gosh, surely most users wouldn't want to do a silly thing like back up their files. ;) > Can anyone recommend a freeware or cheapware > backup program. I can heartily recommend SyncBack by 2BrightSparks: http://www.2brightsparks.com/downloads.html . The newest version (v.4) costs $25, but the previous version (3) is free. I've been using the free one for about a month and a half now with GREAT success. I just told it once to back up the directories I want, and it's been working flawlessly ever since. There's a great tutorial for setting up daily, weekly and monthly backups at Lifehacker.com: http://tinyurl.com/az34g . It's so nice to finally have peace of mind without having to *do* anything. -Anne Anne Campbell, annebcampbell at yahoo.com http://www.annecampbelldesign.com/ http://www.annecampbelldoula.com/ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
