[Hidden-tech] Back Up software?

MS's Synctoy for windows works for mirroring directories (ie and a 
simple backup plan). It can be scheduled.

I wonder if your external drive didn't come with something though? Ones 
Ive sold (those "OneTouch" - Maxtor I think?) came with Dantz Retrospect 
(not my fav backup software but it works).

ghost4linux mirrors drives. A hardrive I recently bought came with 
mirroring software which was cool.

Also theres a popular linux based drive copy/mirror app (like ghost) out 
there that comes standard in a certain linux distro but the name escapes 
me. That one is easy to use as you just have to burn a boot cd image of 
that linux distro (its easy), boot off the cd and run the utility (works 
on windows systems). Haven't used it in a while, someone here probably 
can clarify.
