[Hidden-tech] more on podcasts

I have used and recommend Odeo (www.odeo.com), a collaboration between
Audblog's Noah Glass and (formerly) Blogger's Ev Williams. All the same
features, and you can re-record until you are happy. Like Ron mentions, it
doesn't allow you to do any traditional editing, but you can record until
you are happy with the results.

** Be a Good Dobee and help the group, you must be counted to post .
** Fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area.

I just came across a free service called GCast (www.gcast.com). You call
an 800 number, leave a voice mail and it gets converted to a podcast and
added to your podcast channel on the GCast Web site. There are some
additional features, which you can learn about on the site.

You can't edit your recording once you create it, a big limitation, but
it's free and it's easy, and it provides a way to get into podcasting
without making a huge investment of time and equipment.

I have no affiliation with GCast; just think it's a neat idea.
