The Diocese of Springfield is seeking a Director of
Development for Cathedral High School. This highly visible, goal
oriented position requires a professional who can develop and
implement all fundraising activities such as annual giving,
endowment and capital campaigns and develop strategies to
broadly promote the school's Catholic mission.
The Director is charged with developing and maintaining
productive working relationships with board members, donors,
parents, administrators and faculty. As such, the Director is a key
member of the CHS administrative team, reporting to the Principal
and the Diocesan Director of Development.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
€ Bachelor's degree in a related field and seven years professional
fundraising experience, backed by a proven track record of
accomplishment, secondary education environment preferred.
€ Two years managing a comprehensive development program.
€ Proven experience in designing and managing development and
alumni relations programs, capital campaign experience desirable.
€ Development office infrastructure and donor database
management experience.
€ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
€ Proven ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
