Hi Nick,

You're right -- these are lots of questions that require a variety of answers.

You're in the right place for nos. 1, 2 and 3.

To answer No. 3, see the original piece I wrote on Hidden Tech for the 
Boston Globe magazine and then if you can get to the Hampshire Gazette 
archives and to Deb Scherban, ask her where to locate an article I wrote on 
tech startups for them several years ago. That gives you a good background 
on the many startups in the area.

Could you be more specific what you're seeking and why? That will help me 
and others on the list help you (re: No. 3).

Another source of information on start ups would be Keith Parent, CEO of 
Court Square Data, who created a start up and built it to a success story. 
He's in Springfield.

As for the Hidden-Tech FORUMS. They do function with some help from the 
Webmaster. You might want to start a thread there and then post a note to 
the list to have people join you there.
