Hi Margot!

GET A LAWYER! You have to protect your intellectual property! I recommend
Mary Kelleher in Northampton. She works on copyright laws and is good. You
can contact her at: mary at kelleher.vg. It will be money well-spent!

Good Luck!

Subject: [Hidden-tech] protecting one's services....

I am entering into a partnership with a non-profit service organization:

I am forming my own non-profit corp.

and will offer educational workshops to their members for a fee.

I will get sponsorship and grant support for these clinics and workshops.

The national org. has hinted that at some point in the future when they have
enough staff,

they could "take over" the workshops and do it themselves.

How do I keep this from happening?

This isn't really a non compete agreement -

how do I protect myself and my workshops from their usurping them in the
future?

Do I need a lawyer?

If so, do you know of any who have expertise in wording this sort of
protection?

Thanks all.
