[Hidden-tech] Report back: Env/Tech: Water As Fuel

I know that Finland is using electricity generated by geothermal power to split hydrogen out of water for use at fueling stations for fuel cell vehicles. At least that’s their grand plan. The advantage of this system is that it doesn’t create any pollution and it is easier to transport electricity (and water) then it is to pipe or truck hydrogen everywhere. This solution is only really practical in Finland however where they are sitting on top of an old volcano (or it is just a place where the plates meet?) and have easy access to lots of geothermal power.

In the US we would have to go nuke, or a mix of nuke, solar, and wind to at least get the carbon pollution output to zero.
