Hey David, There's a great "Reader's Report" on Macintouch on Audio Recording with an enormous amount of good information. http://www.macintouch.com/readerreports/audiorecording/index.html Also, I've only spent a small amount of time working in it, but Apple's "Soundtrack Pro" application is a wonderful audio editor. It's far easier to use and much less quirky that Audacity, which is to be expected since Soundtrack is a commercial product and an Apple on at that.
