I would add the same comment Mary. This conversation has been terrific 
to read about, and I thank everyone who has posted their comments. I am 
facing these exact issues right now. Especially trying to even broach 
the topic of a retainer, which I didn't know was as common as it seems 
to be from the discussion. It's also nice to hear that other people's 
clients squeeze them sometimes. It's good not to feel alone in that. Ha.
