[Hidden-tech] seeking roofers

We used to have Roberts work on our slate roof. He got very unreliable and
spent a lot of time white water canoe racing. He was also like that for my
stepson's roof. We always paid him promptly and had used him for years,
which only pissed me off more. I would never use him again.

We started using George Thibado Roofing in Easthampton, but they, too, never
showed up without my calling a dozen times. I ended up calling to leave a
message at 11 PM on a Sat night, figuring I'd get the machine, but George
himself picked it up. I gave him the story and Todd showed up the next week.
George recently died, and I am not confident that I can get Todd without
him. 

Granted we have a slate roof, which requires a roofer who knows slate to
work on it, but it seems impossible to get them to come when they say.

Roberts roofs in Granby put a new roof on my house shortly after I moved in.
Their bid beat out another one by a significant amount, they were pleasant
to deal with, and showed up on time.  467-9884
