My chimney sweep is Geoff Kenseth, Chimney Swift in Amherst, 413-256-0157.
I've used him for years and he is very competent. Does not do masonry. 

For masonry, we have used Jim Maloney, also Amherst. He rebuilt one chimney
and constructed a new one. We were very pleased with his work, his work
ethic, and his prices, which were reasonable. Try Maloney Masonry,
413-253-2737, Amherst.

Instead of looking for masons, try looking in your yellow pages for a 
chimney sweep.  I'd recommend mine, but he's in North Adams.  He fixed 
up my chimneys, which were in disrepair when I bought the house, and put 
metal caps on them for a very reasonable price.
