[Hidden-tech] Joel Kotkin to address sprawl issue Tuesday

For those of you who have leafed through the Hidden-Tech reports posted on 
the Web site, you'll recognize the name Joel Kotkin, author of THE NEW 
GEOGPRAPHY and many others books and articles for prominent business 
publications. Joel has mentioned Hidden-Tech in articles, which focus often 
on the ways that technology is changing the way we all work and live.

He's going to be speaking at Smith College at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20 
on the topic: "Can Cities Remain Relevant?" The location is Graham Hall in 
the Brown Fine Arts Center. Among the issues he'll address is sprawl, which 
is a big issue for many in the region.
