[Hidden-tech] Network wiring

If you are willing to wait until the 25th you should be able to pick up the
Wi-Fi hub and cards cheap, even possibly free (after rebate). Assuming you
are willing to get up early and fight the crowds.

Assuming you have a cable TV provider that offers broadband, have you
considered Wi-Fi instead of Ethernet? No expertise needed, and after the
monthly fee, all it will cost you is a router and one board per device. I
believe you can even add a board to remote peripherals such as servers and
printers.

I'm looking for someone to wire a condo for ethernet. By that I mean run the
wires through the walls so you can connect your computer to a LAN by
plugging its ethernet cable into a wall outlet. Can anyone recommend someone
that does this in the Amherst/Northampton area?

Regards,
Jean
