Hi all, I'm in the process of selling my house -- the "headquarters" of the hidden tech movement, by the by -- and moving to a condo around the corner. I've been calling handymen types and was very pleased with In House Handyman at 584-7700. They charge $75 for the first hour (set fee) and then in 15 minute increments, which is cheaper than some of the other services in the area. Plus, the fellow who came did very good work -- everything from replacing ceramic tiles in the front hall, the cosmetic painting, fixing cabinets that wouldn't close, etc . . . The total bill was slightly over $300, but I am poised in getting a house offer and none were coming in beforehand. Stan the Fix It Man is also very nice, but he was booked out three weeks ahead. By the by, if anyone knows someone looking for a contemporary home in Amherst Woods -- an "historic home" at that -- please reach me at az at a-zinternational.com. That offer may not come in!
