[Hidden-tech] Health insurance - HSA experience?

I've looked into this a bit and have been very disappointed. The only
HSA compatible plans that I've found so far for Massachusetts residents
are from Tufts and Blue Cross. However the premiums for these high
deductible plans (HDHP) were practically the same as a regular plan so
it doesn't make economic sense to go this route. For example, I was
quoted a premium of $620/month for a plan with a $10,000 deductible!
For $700/month I could get a "real" plan that would actually pay for
office visits. I really thought that HSA's were the answer for my
family but the insurance companies are making them a non-option by not
offering high deductible plans that make the combo of HSA and HDHP
economical. I think I've decided just to go with the cheapest family
plan I can find which turns out to be with Health New England.

what a pain!
