I have both business and personal accounts (and a mortgage, to boot) with BankNorth, and have always found them professional and supportive. Interestingly, the branch where I opened my account in 1994 was BayBank, which merged with Bank of Boston, becoming BankBoston, which merged with Fleet, which merged with BofA. And maybe something else in there, too. So, in doing business with BankNorth, it's a successor, of sort, to Fleet/BofA. Hi All, We need to switch banks for business and personal accounts since Bank of America (since they bought Fleet) is no longer supporting Quicken/Quickbooks direct connect. The two local banks that are supporting it are: Bank of Western Massachusetts TD Banknorth. Any of you have any experience with either you can share, pro and con?
