Program Manager, Curricular Initiatives Description: Responsible for development and oversight of curricular programs and related activities to support them. Operational planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of multifaceted program initiative including related subprograms or associated activities. Duties include supervision of grants program staff and consultants, project management and coordination, developing and overseeing the development of curricular materials and resources, assessment processes and reports. Leadership of national program initiatives including strategy, development efforts and representation of the organization. Qualifications: Requires a highly organized, enthusiastic individual with a passion for entrepreneurial thinking, excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills. Superior writing skills, including experience creating program materials, conducting assessment, and developing reports. Experience in program management and creation required. B.A. required, M.A. in business, engineering, education, or related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience. Demonstrated proficiency with organization of projects, information and people. Travel required. Grants Administrator Description: The Grants Administrator is responsible for smooth operation of grants program including program record keeping, reporting, evaluation and assessment and providing administrative support to the Director. S/he provides front line contact for grants programs, answering inquiries, processing applications, coordinating the grant review process, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, and disseminating publicity materials. Qualifications: A highly organized individual with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills. Experience with grants administration and fast-paced office operations required, B.A. required, M.S. preferred. Must be highly proficient in the use of standard office software in a networked, Web-based environment and familiar with general office operations. Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience and advanced proficiency with word processing, database, and spreadsheet programs. Familiarity with Macintosh computers and web programming (html or equivalent) is highly desirable. Program Assistant for Outreach Description: Responsible for event planning, marketing and logistics, publicity and production of organizational and event website materials and publications and fundraising initiatives. Qualifications: Requires a highly organized individual with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills. Experience with publicity, events planning, and writing for deadline. B.A./B.S. required, M.A. in business, communications, or relevant field preferred. Electronic Resources Associate Description: Responsible for developing and maintaining the NCIIA's electronic and Web-based resources and assisting with other communications work. Duties include working with Internet Service Provider (ISP) to develop and implement new Web-based resources; maintaining and updating current electronic resources; troubleshooting Website, electronic tools, and e-mail programs as needed; and providing Web and other electronic tools support to NCIIA staff. Qualifications: Requires a highly organized individual with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills. Ability to manage complex projects involving internal and external teams. Attention to detail. BA in a communications-related field required. Must be highly proficient in HTML, graphics software, and Web-authoring tools, and familiar with general office operations in a non-profit setting. Minimum of 3 years experience managing organizational electronic resources. Web programming and graphic production experience required.
